I’m working on a new build, have been searching all over for SP, mysites and office web apps all configured for HTTP and HTTPS, and I haven’t found one article on it. It also appears office web apps will only work with either HTTP or HTTPS, so I’m going to have to configure the entire farm for HTTPS. Poor documentation by Microsoft and none of the fixes i’ve tried for Office web apps work.

Not that I know of. The IIS setup should be the same. The only thing that might be different would be the cookie handler. Of course maybe you’ll be lucky and SharePoint 2007 won’t mark the cookie SSL only.
